We would like to wish good luck to probationary members, Nick Caggiano and Dmitri Fiorentino for beginning the Monmouth County Fire Academy. They are on the road to becoming certified firefighters and will serve the residents of Freehold Township well.
Though, it may be short notice, we will be hosting an orientation on Wednesday, August 26th, at 6:00 PM. This will be held at our firehouse located at 191 Dutch Lane Road. Feel free to come and talk to us about becoming a volunteer and helping our community.

We will Never forget !We are saddened to hear about the cancellation of the tradition that has been going on for nineteen years. We made a promise to all those who lost their lives and their families that we would never forget. As a community we have to come together and keep UNITED AS ONE.
On September 11, 2020 at 7:00pm, we will be hosting a Remembrance Ceremony alongside with East Freehold Fire Company, Freehold Fire Department, Freehold Emergency Medical Services, Freehold Township Police Department and Freehold Borough Police Department
for all those lives that were taken on 9/11/01. The ceremony will take place at the Firehouse on Stillwells Corner Road (next to town hall).

We are asking anyone who would like to read the names of lost loved ones to please contact us at the below email address.

Glad that Freehold will still hold a remembrance. But also saw this posted: "The ceremonial "Towers of Light" that shine from NYC in tribute to those lost on 9/11 are an iconic symbol of hope. Because Tunnel to Towers is fully committed to the idea that we must NEVER FORGET, the Foundation is doing everything in its power to make sure that the Towers of Light will once again be illuminated. Our firefighters arenโt the only ones who have to face the heat! Follow these simple suggestions and try to stay cool!
Make sure to keep an eye on flower beds and mulch covered areas. With high heat, comes the possibility of fire.
Remember to check in on our elderly residents and keep your pets in mind as well!
As always, no matter the temperature, if there is any type of emergency, never hesitate to dial 911 and keep yourself safe!

As the Fourth of July nears, the sounds of fireworks are familiar. We would like to remind residents and visitors that only certain fireworks are legal. Please remember to have respect for your neighbors. Our town consist of those with special needs, the elderly, veterans and emergency responders suffering from PTSD. Pets are also adversely affected from loud noises.
Adults should always supervise fireworks activities. There are many injuries from sparklers to children. Sparklers burn at temperatures of about 2,000 degreesโhot enough to melt some metals.
Keep a bucket of water or a garden hose handy in case of fire or other mishap.
Enjoy the summer safely and responsibly! ... See MoreSee Less
